thinking of you and your family...if you have the chance to see him, you really should. I lost my grandfather, who was like my father, in 2004. I was not allowed to see him for 3 yrs before he died (LONG story) and I still cry because I never got to be by his side when he needed me most. {crying now even}
I am so sorry to here about your dad. If you do not go there are chances you might have regrets later. When my grandma pasted I was 15 and my mom didn't want me to see her like that, I fought and got my way. I might not of made many wise decisions in my life but that was one of them. I don't remember the bed or tubs or all that other hospital stuff. What I remember is are last time together. What ever you do is up to you. God be with you! tara
I told my sweet husband tonite that I need to go see him. Hopefully we can go in the next couple of days. I got word tonite that he is worse. They can't do the colonoscopy as his heart is too weak. His white blood count is down and they put a 'pick line' ??? in because he isn't gettin enough nutrients.
My dad and I were just getting back together the last few years, I can't lose him now!
