My Dad said there was a problem with his gift, but we don't understand

That's interesting and something I would never have thought of. Oh well, I'll just pick him up a restaurant gift card next time we are in town.

BTW Sour, did you see my purty Christmas present? Here's a hint...it has four wheels.

I keep wondering if it could have something to do with the combination of air travel & being in Florida. Several years ago, when we lived in Miami, my sister sent me a bag of dark chocolate covered espresso beans, via UPS. (from Philadelphia). By the time they arrived at my door, the bag was one, solid, melted & re-congealed brick of chocolate-espressobean-concrete. Perhaps. between the air pressure and temperature changes, the alcohol vaporized? Not sure of the physics, just a thought. Was the deodorant melted?

No, he said the deodorant was fine. I may ask our postmistress about it next time I have to go to the post office, just out of curiosity. She may have some idea.

If she smells a lot like Old Spice you might have solved the question

(I think my ex husband has a drawer full of old spice-his mom sends him a "kit" every Christmas and in the drawer they go)

Since it was still packaged neatly, is it possible that someone opened it, got out what they wanted, then repackaged it in a different box?

I don't think so. I have a habit that drives DH crazy and is probably a little bit of OCD. When purchasing just about anything if the package at the front of the shelf looks like it has been handled extensively, I'll reach for the one behind the one in the front.

What Kat, thats really weird!!!
But its the thought that counts,...
