I do have a tractor (john deere). I won't be going left or right pulling it, it will go from 1 straight line to the next. I saw this several months ago, and thought it might be possible http://www.horizonstructures.com/8x8_coop.asp. The engineer is in the wheels. He is a nice guy, too nice to others in my opinion but I wish he was more understanding and patient with me as he is with others. I like to create stuffs and built things, in the other hand, he likes everything ready to buy, no energy to built or use no mind to create, that's his motto.

What you are doing is amazing. I wish I had a run that big! It's great. It's a big project, but what a sense of accomplishment.

Mamachic21, The tractor in the video was sort of a lawnmower type tractor. If yours is more substantial then wheels won't be needed. I use to make cattle feeders and loading chutes that were very heavy and on skids. I could pull them anywhere, with no problem with a 25hp tractor.

YESSS!! I'm so glad you decided to resume your coop building journey. These challenges will make the end result all the more satisfying. You're going to have the most valued coop in all of BYCdom..because the more you put into something the more precious it is to you. I'm not saying the family/marriage is less important...but this might actually give them something more valuable than eggs...that is for your children to see and learn that if they put their minds to something, they can accomplish anything. And maybe hubby and your mom will see that too
