Hi,

In theory, there´s a 50/50 chance of the motor starting the correct way (or the wrong way

) after each set time... Personally, I've set my timer to activate 8 x day... So, even if it fails half the times, it still turns the eggs 4 x day... From my experience, that's enough.

I love this idea. The scrap microwave in the barn may be useful after all. I'm customizing a diy aquarium incubator (the aquarium was also found in my barn, and without an automatic turner its hatch rate is not going to be great. It loses too much heat for manual turning. I couldn't figure out what to do about that until I saw this. Thank you.
