HeyKeep ointment on the wounds to keep them moist.
If the bandage is sticking, try a nonstick pad under the gauze. You may need to use a little sterile saline to wet the gauze as you remove it.
Instead of wrapping the wound with gauze you can also try a hen saddle to cover the wound, it's not wrapping the wound and would allow air to get to it. I know she's picking at it, so it must itch or maybe even hurts.
It depends on what supplies you are able to get. Here in the U.S. we are able to get wound care non stick pads that have a coating on them that makes them less likely to stick to a wound.Hey
Can you please explain about a non-stick pad ??
I do the same n I'm trying to get the non stick pads ...It depends on what supplies you are able to get. Here in the U.S. we are able to get wound care non stick pads that have a coating on them that makes them less likely to stick to a wound.
Even here, they are harder to get right now. If they are not available to you, then keep the wound moist with your ointment and when removing the wrap, dampen the area with sterile saline to help loosen it.
