my dog needs help and idk what to do...

My question would be at this point: Has she been spayed, or is she still intact? Because there could be a remote possibility that she is in heat if she's intact.

I was wondering too....

She is intact. But was in heat in Oct-Nov so shouldn’t be in heat again till April-May.

For real my dog acted MOSTLY ok but puked in the am. I had her at the vet at 12:30 pm.
They prescribed stuff for excess acid.

At 1 am she puked blood and by 4 am was nearly dead.
I rushed her to the emergency vet (that I called at 1am). She spent 3 days hemorrhaging from both ends and on 3 IV drip machines at the same time to keep her alive.

She had swallowed a rock.

That was 5 weeks ago and she is still trying to recover.

She never acted like her abdomen was painful.


For real at least call the emergency vet in your area.


Not spayed....just read that. False pregnancy is a real possibility.

Hmm. Ok. Another commentor suggested a false pregnancy, which does happen as well. She just seems to be acting almost as if she has puppies or wants puppies. But it definitely could be medical as well, so a vet visit after Christmas would be needed. Good luck to you!

She is not spayed. There isn’t really male dogs around us except our fixed lab. And our neighbors lab (he’s not fixed) but he’s kenneled up. So idk what dog she’d get pregnant with.

False pregnancy does not mean ever pregnant.

It is a hormonal imbalance where her body thinks she has been pregnant.

A false pregnancy is a hormonal imbalance. It cannot be 'caught' from a male dog.
