my dog needs help and idk what to do...

Key word there EMERGENCY.

There are just to many things it COULD be. Please @happy eggs yard call a vet sooner rather than later.
yeah it went from 0-100 fast. I thought she had a stomach bug and was told 4000.00 emergency surgery NOW! It was over before I realized what happened almost.
Not to scare the OP just my experience.
Like I said the surgeon told me it's usually older dogs mine was 9 maybe 8

Many years ago a friend of mine had that happen to a 3 year old dog.
It is a horrible infection for sure.

I keep all my dogs spayed and neutered. Yes even our papered blood hound from great working lines will be spayed when she gets a bit older. She is 14 weeks now.
My rock eater is one year old.

She is intact. But was in heat in Oct-Nov so shouldn’t be in heat again till April-May.

She is most likely in a full blown false pregnancy; however, she may also be suffering from pyometra - an infection of the uterus. If she were mine I would take her to a veterinarian.

There are many problems that can cause the symtoms you are describing. Take her rectal temperature with a digital thermometer, it should be between 101 to 102 F. If she has a high fever she needs to go somewhere now. Not eating and hiding can be from pain, a foreign object that she ate, a uterine infection and many other things. If you have had a lot of company it could be severe anxiety as well. I'm sorry she is feeling well.

I know people have mentioned false pregnancy but is it possible she’s actually pregnant?? I know it’d be a bit early for them to be due if she was only in heat in a month ago and seems unlikely if her stomach hasn’t gotten any bigger but it just seems like she is trying to mother that toy/wanting puppies and wanting to get into a small, tight place to nest. False pregnancy is probably more likely though.

But for the record, dogs can mate through fences so him being penned up shouldn’t be an obstacle unless either of your yards are fenced and she can’t get over there?

I would probably wait till after Christmas so you’re not charged with a huge holiday emergency bill over nothing but I would also keep a close eye on her and watch her and if she doesn’t improve I’d take her in because it might not be nothing.

But if she’s not fixed and/or has been exposed to males then it’s likely either a false pregnancy or real pregnancy.

Either way, taking her to the vet would be good because they can determine for sure if she is pregnant or not or if she might have anything else wrong like a blockage or pyrometra or something.

Our dog gad a pyrometra last summer...we almost lost her because we waited too long. We also had a dog who ate a rock too....he had to have surgery also. But the outcomes were great..two happy healthy dogs. BTW,..the one with the pyrometra had a false pregnancy right before...she acted strange...a bit territorial and definitely nested. We thought she was pregnant for a long time...because we were trying to breed her. Good luck. Taking her temp is a great idea.

She did eat tonight . But I didn’t feed her as much as she usually would’ve eaten. Her tummy seems normal.. she’s panting a lot tho and acting as tho her toy is her “baby”View attachment 1987457
If I was you I would take her to the vet. It sounds like something serious! Dogs usually only pant or hide like that when they are in a lot of pain.
