Yes I hate to see it :hit it breaks my heart I feel like he’s just prone to it now due to the first time and it really makes me sad. He lives a very happy life aside from his feet loves his pool and he loves to eat grapes they are his new favorite treat :love loves to play in the mud and hang out with his 6 ladies. I wish it would go away. The female daisy has it pretty badly as well.
That’s great to hear! I’m glad you’re doing good :) and your babies! Sounds like you got your hands full. It’s the same with me lol just not 19 call ducks but I do have 3 of those little guys :lau I have my 7 standard size ducks Aflac included and 3 call ducks and the 3 geese and my 5 chickens, my turkeys all recently passed :(

Awwh .. Sorry to hear about your turkeys!

I feel your pain, I have been dealing with the bumblefoot for almost two years. My vet said once they get it....they are more likely to have reoccurring issues.
Aflacs has been 2 or so years as well probably almost 3 to be honest :( it’s no good. I hate the stuff. I know. I almost feel like regardless what I do he’s always going to get it and it really sucks and makes me sad. Plus you know these pekins and their big monster feet lol.. and all that weight doesn’t help. I’m so sorry you’re struggling with it as well still, good to know it’s not only me. Are you still treating the same way?

Yeah they died from their own separate issues :( some worse than others. The first of my 3 had a random heart attack I found him out one morning, the second 2 months later a horrible intestinal prolapse where I had to rush her to the vet at 3am and have her euthanized humanely and the third just 2 months ago now had severe ongoing reoccurring sour crop :(

I've read all the way through this in case I ever have this problem myself. There has been some awesome advice and you have been so strong and resiliant. Graduation pic brought a tear to my eye, as I feel like I've been on this amazing, horrible, exciting, emotional journey with you. Well done for your perseverance when many would have quit. Good luck!

I just want to thank you so much for your kind thoughtful words. It means more to me than you could imagine. It was very difficult dealing with all of the emotional trauma in my life while also dealing with this and it taught me so much. And everyone on here was so amazing and there to listen. All hours of the day. I really do thank you :hugs
