My duck eggs hatching early!?!? Did I do something wrong?

Pics
Ok time for the crazy questions! It's creeping closer to hatch day so I'm sure I will have plenty. First crazy question, day one: is it considered day one the day you put them in the incubator or after they have been in there for 24hrs?

After 24 hours. If you set on a Monday, they should hatch on Monday, etc. Chickens 3 Mondays later, ducks (most ducks) 4 weeks later

Awesome so I was right about that at least! My babies are due for hatching on Tuesday then. I should take them out of the turner tomorrow then correct? And at that time, I should also raise the humidity up to 70? Correct?

Yes, tomorrow should be day 18. Candle them again and remove the turner. I try to lay mine with the lowest dip of the air cell on top. Humidity 65-75 should be good.

My first one just hatched and 2 more just pipped!!

I have one that is internally pipped right now! I could hear him a tapping! And tomorrow should be day 25.. Duckies, not chickies. I am bout the candle them all as I move them out of the turner and into the other bator. I've kept my temp right and my humidity. I really hope I don't lose as many as last time!
:fl

Should I up the humidity today?

Sorry, forgot it was ducks! If you already have internal pip, its not really too early to go ahead and lock them down and quit turning. And go ahead with upping the humidity too. And keep in mind, ducks can take 48 hours to get out, even after initial pip.

I've got one chick hatched and 2 pipped, so I'm signing off for a bit to watch them. Good luck!

Awesome! Good luck with your little ones too! I have several internally pipped so I did up the humidity and locked em down. I have to head to work but I will check back in later.
:weee

Ok, so today is day 7 for my ducks. Is it safe to say that if the egg is clear that there isn't any ducky in there? Or do I need to wait longer? I guess if there isn't a web of veining then any random line of red would be an early quitter? Thanks!
