my duck flew off

i had a set of ducks for about 5 months and and my female duck flew off, and never came back. can anyone tell me if she will come back. shes been gone for 2 weeks now. do they fly off to lay eggs? i feed my ducks flock raiser made by purina.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

So sorry your duck has not returned. If they go broody and have a clutch of eggs somewhere, they will disappear for the entire incubation period. You might go on a duck hunt and see if you can't find her somewhere. She may turn up in a couple weeks when the ducklings hatch, if that is where she is.
