My duck has prolapsed his penis!!

Hi Miss Lydia, Bubble is fine thanks. He seems very confused about why he's been banished to my son's bathroom! I've given him lots of fresh dry hay, a couple of bath towels plus his food and water. I have been giving him a quick bath each evening as he is trying so hard to keep clean, bless him. He has an appointment at the vets on Tuesday so it will be interesting to see how he is then. Thanks for asking

Some years ago we had a large Rouen drake who had part of his penis removed after a prolapse as it was damaged. He was fine after and had no more problems. Good luck.

Hi everyone, just a quick update on Bubbles' progress. He is at the vet now getting the end of his ****** removed. I hope he will be OK. They are keeping him in overnight to manage any bleeding. He has spent the last week in my sons' bathroom and has been pretty bored and fed up. Sounds funny to hear quacking coming from the bathroom when I walk past. Can't wait to get him back home. Will update again later.

Latest news on Bubble!! I went to the vet to pick him up after his surgery yesterday. They had said he was fine to go home. When I got there, however, the vet said that last night everything looked great but this morning there is more showing. He is staying in another night and later today will have further surgery. He will also get an injection to "stop his games!"
He has become quite tame through all this. He never liked to be touched or held before but now seems to quite like the attention he's getting. I miss him though
