My duck is gone!!

My baby is gone, I found her in the duck pool most of her feathers were pulled out. I am so heartbroken. I had 7 ducks one male the rest female all laying free range. I filled their pool last night and found her this morning. I am not sure what happened but if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate your input. Thank you

No just some bruises from maybe the feathers being pulled out?? But no open wounds

We had the same scenario with our ducks except our duck feathers weren't pulled.
We lost to of our hen ducks to the males. Apparently we had too many males with them and they drowned the two females.
So I would separate the male from the females
to prevent that again.

I only have 1 male. And he is small so he stays away from the females. I can separate them and hope it doesn’t happen again. I’m not sure if he had anything to do with it. I will try it though.

We love our ducks but we lost a pullet to the male duck. We do it for their safety.
