today i let my 3 day old ducklings have their first swim in very shallow water and since, Louis has been sneezing, its sort of like he is trying to blow his nose or something... i never dried them after their swim, i just put them back under the heat lamp in the brooder, should i have dried them? also the same duck just had another little problem, he was out of the brooder and he fell on his back and his legs were moving really quick probably trying to get back on his feet but he couldnt so i had to lift him up, im not asking for advice on him falling over i just thought id share it with you lol, but seriously why does he keep sneezing or blowing his nose whatever it is?

they do that. I had a pekin who kept sneezing over and over... nothing to worry about as long as they have water deep enough to blow their noses in.

I don't know if this parallel is valid since I don't have ducks. However, when our son was born he sneezed a lot and we were told it was him working out the amniotic fluid from his lungs. I imagine being trapped in an egg for several weeks some fluid will work its way in and needs to get out.

Again, I don't know if the analogy is valid but figured it was worth a shot.
