My duck stopped laying

Hello,

My Cayuga is 1.5 years old and she was laying an egg every day like clock work and now she has not layed an egg in about two months?She looks great, eating drinking normally etc.... what's the deal?

She's just taking a break. Egglaying is quite a chore. Shortened daylength is most likely a causative factor. She will resume egg laying in the spring.

Most likely time of yr. most ducks are seasonal layers which means when daylight gets shorter they don't lay or don't lay as often, once the days start getting longer egg laying should pick back up, If you have not noticed any other problems. My Muscovys usually end up their laying season in Oct. and start back in late march or April.
