My Duckling has possible cerebral palsy?? Is this possible?

Besides the lack of vitamins that it may lack and can fix it; the video showed a healthy duck. It is active and peeps. It shows a healthy duck besides staying in balance. That is a good sign. I hope vitamins can fix it. And if not, for the rest it is healthy duck, and in time it will show how many keeping stable inflicts it's life.

Hello @CrowHaven !!
I agree, the duckling is a bit malnourished. If I were you, over the vet I'd just grab a few thing for supportive care!
Vitamin B complex
Vitamin E
Niacin

Here is a link for some vitamin B that is cheap and works great!

Vitamin E most people use soft, gel pills and cut them open to give duckling the liquid part.

For niacin you can add brewers yeast to the feed

I would suggest you switch to duckling starter because it has the essential vitamins and minerals for proper growth.

Im going to get some vitamin E and B

Im just not sure if it will help.

Yes i can.

Hey your name changed or am I crazy?

Anyway; chill. You can't do more then you are doing now since it is night and vitamin-stuff can't be bought untill tommorow. Relax. You are doing what you can.

Please keep us informed.

I give new duckling that act a bit weak, the wee ones, a hard-boiled mashed egg. The yellow part, the yolk. Mashed with water and mashed dried mealworms. Maybe you can try that in the meantime before the vitamins arrive. It can't hurt. And it will sooth a bit of stress.

You are just crazy haha.

And i know im just being a father goose,

I sat down a few minutes ago and spoonfed him the purina-water mix so he is getting the vitamins SOMEHOW. He keeps making a mess and moving his beak like a child to push the wet food bits -_-
But its infused with the water now so.

I just want the little guy to survive.

Ooooh. I am having two conversations at once. But you both don't have a picture and I'm a simpleton.

I said that the vitamins came tommorow because I thought you were from another country, but the other person with no picture and place where he/she lives is.
And Purina is an common European brand.

So you might be able to get that stuff. Anyway; the 'stay relaxed' is still true. Time. You spoonfed it it stuff as much as you could. Now wait. And breath.

It sounds like you're putting a lot of effort into helping the little guy! I'm sure he appreciates it.

Can you list the dosages of the supplement you bought? And tell us whether it's tablet or capsule form?

Also, just to be sure: he does have unlimited access to the purina feed & to a waterer, yes?

It is tablet, i will have to crush it

Vitamin C: 167%
Thiamine: 8.333%
Riboflavin: 1.538%
Niacin: 156%
Vitamin B6: 118%
Folate: 170%
Vitamin B12: 625%
Biotin: 100%
Panothenic acid: 110%

I still want to get some vitamin E and a liquid form of B

He has water and food.

I just give him the water-food mixture to 100% make sure.
