My Duckling has possible cerebral palsy?? Is this possible?

@WannaBeHillBilly (I learned now how to tag people. sorry Wanna...) Did you not have an Indian runner chick like this that made it into adulthood?
Hi Loopeend! - I had a young duck, older than six weeks which was suddenly paralyzed: Limpy. Never really found out what had happened, but the main suspect's name is »Clostridium botulinum«. There is a video on YouTube, from one of your compatriots, »A chick called Albert« who is trying to rescue the Dutch Hookbill duck-breed. About 7½ minutes into the video, a duckling with a non-functioning balance hatched. To fix this, the 'ling is fixated for one full night, using a sock.
I don't know if that would help an older duckling? My assumption is, that it isn't really the fixation of the duckling, but the sensoric-deprivation that helps the duckling's brain to focus on one thing - the balance.
To me your duckling looks a bit hyper-active, so i would try to restrict its movements as shown in the video and keep it in a warm darker place for a couple of hours (overnight) and see how that works out.

Him and his brother stay in the cage 90% of the time. Right now he is sitting next to his brother.
