My ducks first spring!

My ducks would KILL for a bath! But they really can't because they would turn into chunks of ice.

Next week it might get to 30 though!

Ive had that happen. Icicles on ducks

But I have to say, they all look real pretty now, and so soft....Heidi was getting mad at me coz I wouldnt stop picking her up

It's more like ducks on icicles here if I don't prevent it!

I feel sooooo bad for them when they get icy...

Our old goose hen used to try to get it off so hard that she would rip her feathers some times.

mine usually have head feathers frozen from sticking their heads into the water buckets.

And it's hard coz they have to dunk their heads to clear the nostrils.
