my easter egger aka FEATHERS squated today

SHE LAID HER FIRST EGG...WAY TO GO FEATHERS....

Its a light blue green egg...the kids went nuts

All my hens lay brown eggs. It would be really cool to have blue or green ones.

I have 4 Easter eggers...they lay blue or greenish eggs...all my others will lay some shade of brown...I'd like to get some Delawares and light Sussex next spring but since they are white birds I wont...they attract hawks...and I don't want that...the light Sussex lay pink eggs

So cool. I've never heard of pink eggs before.
Aww, that's too bad about the hawks. We don't have any predators around here at all, which I guess is pretty lucky!

Then getcha some light Sussex for pink eggs and ameracaunas aka Easter eggers for blue/ green eggs

I'm not quite sure if we can even get them here. The only chickens sold at the store are red stars.
