OMG I love that name Evie Evil EE.


No Gabby doesn't wear a diaper. Yes she poops everywhere. Yes its gross. Yes my family tolerates her and me. LOL But I am a stay at home mom. My house is VERY clean. I pretty much spend alot of time going behind her with paper towels and a bottle of vinigar. Oh and I love her a lot. I try to think of it as having a parrot with out all that pesky destroying of EVERYTHING you own thing they do.

I know people think I'm crazy. I am, FOR CHICKENS.

iluvcks, I am a stay at home mom with paper towels and vinegar as well and the back door is often open to the friendly ones to come visit in the house as they like, so I know exactly what you mean!!!!!! I also compare them to parrots that are truly domesticated (not just tamed wild animals.) So I guess we both have crazy in common then!

My EE's wouldn't let me touch them until they started to squat. . . then I made a point of holding them nicely and now they all wait their turn when it's time for some one on one snuggling. One girl pecks at my legs if I'm taking too long with someone else

I have a house banty chicken who is becoming incredibly spoiled this winter. She now comes up to me while I'm on the computer and stomps her feet wanting to be picked up. Her favorite place these days is right next to the keyboard, though she'd prefer to be ON the keyboard.

I love the pic of the chicken in front of the fire. Too cute.

I have yet to be able to get two that I really want.
