My Eggs from Sonew arrived!! I HAVE A BABY!!!!!!!!!

OMG Sonew... are you IN Onchiota? I can't believe I haven't paid attention! If you are that's not really far from me!! Not by "North Country" standards.... I'd LOVE to get some hatching eggs from you! I have a beautiful roo that would go great with some EE girls. He's young here, but clearly has some Ameraucana in there somewhere! You're only about an hour and 1/2 away. That's nothing drive wise up here...

Chicky Tocks, I think for me it was waiting until the egg is "full". Then it's easier to see the contrast where the cell is. Even then, it's not easy and the outline is faint. I have a pretty nice little mag light, too. Her olive eggs are so dark that it's really going to be like a kid at Christmas for me. I think, think, think there's something in them. And I think that's the only reason I can distinguish the cell now. (But it wasn't until day 13 or 14 that I could see it.)

thank you blessed

This will be hard for me, but I MUST BACK AWAY FROM THE BATOR! I've been watching your thread religiously because I have the same egglettes you do and I'm anxious to see what hatches!

1 1/2 hrs is not far around here at all! haha...I have 8 EE chicks right now-of cours dont ask me what their sex is-they are only 13 days old:). Ill be hatching more out throughout FEB..as well as those olive eggers-As soon as I fill orders. I have sold out of those for the next 2 weeks...Which Im good with considering I have no bator room:)
ANytime you feel like traveling let me know...what town do you live in?

I pray those oilves hatch out for you:) Like I said I had no idea how many of mine were actually going to hatch because of how dark they were...It was a wait until the end...

but low and behold look what I saw on day 21 morning!

Oh, I hope, I hope, I hope!!!

Lockdown is tomorrow. i ihink i'll be down to 10 eggs based on my last candling. Two of those are likely quitters... but i did see something so i let them stay since they don't stink. I probably won't candle again. just do one last turn and bump up yhe humidity.
