My Exotic and Migratory Ducks [Destinduck] (Photos)

yea those cubans kinda dwarf the other species in treeduck.
Maybe you'll have better luck with the 4th goldeneye go round. Honestly, I had whole flocks of them in virtually every pen I had, 10-20 birds in each. Never had much more than a quick tail pick. They always stayed on the water, so as long as teal stayed away from their breeding corner of the ponds all were fine.

Now they were all in 50 x 200 pens with some of the ponds being 35-40 feet wide and 60 feet long, so there was plenty of room. May be different in smaller pens???

WOOH!!! YEAH!!!! I am on three list so hopefully one will have some luck!!!

Depending on what Goldeneye you want.. I should have Barrow's and I know where you can get the common close by!!

ok I am so over the weather!!! I have smews I want flown in but they are snowed in and now we have ICE and next week is suppossed to be ICE!!

Thanks Kangababy, but I probably wont do goldeneyes again, but ya never can tell with me. Getting redbreasted geese ( young ones) And then according to what I have this fall. It will either be magellan or african pygmies. Found my female white eye dead this morning (bummer) first duck Ive lost in a while. Seems like when I lose one its in the first two weeks of getting them .Maybe stress. Bird looked and felt fine and ate last night. Called for a NPIP person to come out and was told this coming week someone will call me. Doing the fed papers after summers over.

you'lllike either one of those. I'd try my best for african's though, those megallans are some funky looking critters, kind crane ,goose, vulture all swriled into one, LOL

Hate you lost a white eye

They are awesome!!! Aubrey you're thinking of the magpies.

Brown is the female. I used to keep different geese a while back but the barnacles were my favoritre. Friendly and not loud (for geese). Whats cool about the magellan is it is one of the very few species where the sexes have different coloration.

That's true there, most are all the same in true geese.
Forgot how pretty the megellans are, been a while since I saw any, far cry from magpies, was wondering about you there for a bit when I had my brian crossed.
Them some ugly jokers to me...
