I got my first splash silkie egg today!!! Little Lisa is such a good girl!

Guess what Tori? I have started hatching some of the button's eggs from the 'babies' that hatched from your eggs, and I am getting WHITES!! 2 each from 2 sets so far!!

I don't have any whites, but obviously your white boy was not a stranger to the ladies!! And this hatch looks like there is a darth vader chick in it!

I didn't have them long enough to learn much of the genetics, but it sounds like it might be a split-gene thing, because I only had one white boy in the mix. That's so cool!!

I have a splash and a white that I think have gone permanently broody.

She was snuggled on the nest again this morning... took right to it. My Orps won't use the nest... they always lay on the floor. I think I might have to drop the nest box to the floor to get them to use it! LOL!
It WILL get warm someday... it WILL!

I put together a progression album for the first two weeks of their lives.

Here's an updated photo of my BBS Orpington roo "Bob" (cuz he's a Big Boy!) from Christina Korfus's flock.

And I'm excited to say that I have 3 little babies in the hatcher this morning from Speckledhen's flock!!

Two more are pipped!

We're also hatching ducks, and soon the turkeys will be moved to the hatcher. It's SPRING!!!!!!!

There are 7 dark grey bunnies, too... AK_Button_mama is a grandma!!! (Thor used to be her bunny, and is the daddy).

78 Georgia Giants hatching as I type this... this is half...

And two Bourbon Red Turkeys have hatched so far (from Sandspoultry)...

Baby ducks...baby turkeys, baby quail,...and lots of chicks... 5 BBS Orpintons from Speckledhen (Cyn)...(day before Easter)

I'm scrambling to find room for everything. I'm supposed to have 50 meat birds delivered any time now, and 360 chukar eggs...

These are definitely NN over LB...one got picked on by the broody (not pictured), and they all three have feathered feet...
