my family wont eat "home grown" eggs........

My future ex-wife gave me 3 wonderful children.

They were the reason I returned to my chicken hobby.

My children relish the fresh wholesome eggs from my backyard flock.

She will not go near the coop, much less even touch one of the eggs...nor the family dog of 9 years...

Just one of the many reasons I so look forward for the future becoming the present.

You're the mom. You're also the cook.

Do they have this much input on where any other food comes from? If you had lettuce from the garden, would you allow them to refuse to eat that?

I say quit discussing it. Since you're not getting that many eggs yet, simply mix home grown with store bought as you have them. Some days may be all store bought, some may be all home grown. If you don't make a big deal of it, neither will they.
