My family's cattle drive

It sure looks alot like the Chisolm trail drive they have every year in Duncan Oklahoma, That drive started in the 1800's also and goes from south texas to kansas.

The only "cattle drives" I get to go on is when we drive/lead our cattle in the pastures into the corral in the fall to load them up and bring them home.
 
I've gotta ask - Are those all supposed to be purebred Longhorns or mixes? Because the first photo looks like Corriente crosses.
