My Faverolles Rooster Doesn't Crow - Will he ever learn?

My Leghorn roo started crowing around 5 months. He could hear the fellow down the street so he had to start it. He sounded like a sick cow when he first started, now he wont shut up - crows all day and a couple of times when we were camping in the back yard, we heard him in the middle of the night.

Just wanted to finish out this thread. My rooster is crowing now! He started once the girls started laying... isn't that something?! First egg was laid and he made a crow. He is crowing on a regular basis now. So all is SNAFU.
