I know most about their behavior and head bobbing means flirting etc bit she doesn't Bob her head with me anymore. Lately (and I think maybe she's getting hormonal and ready to mate with my other pekin. I only have 2, a male and female) but when I clean in their pen or when she sees me or hears myou voice she bows her head down and won't really look at me and she started making this clucking noise at me. I don't know if she is possessive over the male or what. Just started. She doesn't act this way to my boyfriend though. We have raised them and been hands on since they were babies. I'm jw what's up with her...is she being moody and possessive or jealous?

Yes she bows her head down real low and keeps it down as if she won't look at me. Reminds me of a scolded dog. And she's been making these clucking chicken like noises. I thought head bobbing up and down meant mating and flirting...I didn't know about her head being kept down low.

Head down beak to the ground. And really does it and clucks at me when I'm cleaning and wiping their pen. I feel like shes reprimanding me lol :(
