My first $3000 egg !

Thinking about putting a baby monitor out in the coop as i hear you don't need a subscription to watch it real time. Anybody have any recommendations for them ?
I use a wansview camera. Has worked great and is relatively cheap for a good camera. Mine can alert me and i havent paid once. You can pay but i dont.

Well no eggs today 😢. But i have about 5 pullets that hunker down when i put my hand on their back. Surprisingly 2 are my light Brahmas which are supposed to be late layers.
My brahma started at 24 or 25 weeks old. Ive actually found they lay at different ages if from a different hatchery or bred to lay sooner.

Congrats! I just got my first egg on Sunday. I know who mine is! She’d been making noises like she’s having contractions :pop
Congratulations on your egg! Funny thing is mine barely make any noise. Im sure the neighbors like it that way. But id like to know when they lay.🤣 well unless im watching the camera i dont know.

All my pullets were hatched and delivered the next day from hoovers. The ones farthest behind in development appear to be my Buff Orpingtons. But it really is an individual thing. As it appears some of each are ready to lay. And some are behind a little bit.
