After reading all of yalls success here I decided to let my broody sit in her eggs! She has been sitting on three for five days now and has been doing a great job! Here’s what one of the eggs looks like right now! I’m so excited

You can candle anytime. There's no set rule. From what I understand, most broodies will protest, but will let you take the eggs out. You can always use a stick to lift them up a bit if they're particularly nasty. My broody is day 8-9, when should I candle? Night time to disturb less? Day 13 okay? I go on call then and won’t be back home til day 21!
Haven’t candled them yet. I’m going to candle them either tomorrow or Wednesday@Brahma Chicken5000 How are the eggs lookin' ?
