My first chicks

I am hatching EEs, but I took my orloffs first eggs and put them in the bator and that one is still going strong .. I will hopefully soon have orloff lavender orpington mix as well as EEs

Oh my gosh! Those will be pretty! I love color! Which is why I bought blrw. now you make me want to add more. I already have thirteen for my laying flock. Sigh, mt husband is going to say you are a bad influence on me lol

One of my new little fluffy butts. One of my blrw chicks had a single comb. Not that it really careers for me since I have years of lessons to learn before I try any breeding. I think I ended up with two roos out of this batch. I still can't tell with the little bantams. No red combs and no wattles yet on those little scrufflies.

Cute chick!! LOL Hey, I want more too HAHA... I would mail you some eggs if you just paid for the shipping (since it's the first time), but I've never done it before, only watched ouw it's done..

I wish! I don't have an incubator yet. I would hate to waste any by using a homemade set up. Sniff sniff.

Is it possible that I picked out three girls?? Bad cellphone picture quality but st five and a half weeks old I'm not seeing any pink in the combs our wattles. of course I don't know when that type of thing happens in oegb chicks. Any one else have any thoughts based on these pictures?
