Ok all,
After six months of research and countless hours of scrounging for scraps of wood and having to buy a few along the way I have finally completed my coop and run (99% anyway). All to my wifes constant question of: "Are we really getting chickens?!" Any who, let me know what you think. Plan is for five hens. I have read the math. I gotta stay small.

Picture looking from my back yard. Coop is in the woods for shade. Two Hen boxes.

The actual coop is an old rabbit coop.

Still have not cut door for winter time. This side will be partly down during summer. Made this for easy cleaning.

I am getting my chicks this weekend. Wanting to get a couple easter eggers and some brown egg layers. I will see what they have when I get to the market on Saturday morning. I am taking a friend that is very knowledgable on chickens and I am taking my six year old son to help me. He wants to name all the birds. I cant wait.
