I don’t know what to say about your area of the world. Maybe there chickens are bred to lay earlier, I don’t know.
But for most of the chickens in the breeds that lay later they lay later.

Yep. I had a Cochin lay early. She hatched in mid-August, laid at Christmas. Let's see... That would mean she was a little over 4 months old... Hmm...
