I can't believe it, one of my beautiful girls has done it, I have my first egg!!!!!!!!! I am on cloud 9!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I got my first egg just oer a week ago and yesterday my second girl started, so I was celebrating again. 2 down and 2 to go.

My first egg had no shell.

They are free range with plenty of oyster shell available. I have them on scratch and cracked corn and oatmeal. I will switch to Layer feed now since people here said not to offer that until they start laying.

Now, one of the 3 has dropped a shell-less egg. No sign of any shell or pieces in the nest with the yolk and white.

What's up with this? I have two Delaware Reds and a Silkie. Don't know which one laid the egg. It was there when I went to let them out this am.
