my first eggs!! who laid them?

lol isn't it fun! I was one of those people who swore I was going to raise them just for eggs and not get personally attached, then on day 1 one of my red gals, (I'm naming her Reba) bowed down to me and wanted to be my little buddy-lol I fell in love instantly! I love how each girl has her own personality and I feel like they should have a name that fits :)
so true do not name a friendly little hampster fido

is that white one a leghorn i LOVE THEM!!!!!!
I'm not sure about the white one lol. So far it's a mystery chick and has a thread dedicated to her. She might even be a roo, but so far prior have mentioned she could be a leghorn/br cross. I hope so I love the body shape and comb of leghorns!!

If you can pick them up you can feel the pin bones down in the fluffy part of their backsides. The ones that are laying will be more spread apart than the non layers. As for egg size and color, the eggs will get bigger as they get older and more set into their laying cycle. The eggs will change color often though. Hens only lay one egg per day at the most so you may have two laying.
Someone asked about color of eggs on barred rocks... Barred Rocks can lay any color of eggs.

yeah I do think he lied lol he said the reds were rir But everyone here agrees they are red sex links and he said the white one was a Plymouth rock. One of the br gals is still peeping.

Ok, so I was replying to chasiekitten12 when I heard an egg song from my yard! It was Reba, and I found this!

When I looked at the best box it was the same type of egg and there were barred feathers in the nest. Do chickens do egg songs for each other?
