I am fascinated that you keep silkies in your pea-pen. I kicked my silkies out to put my peas in! I was wondering if I could house them together! Obviously you don't have too many problems?!?!

the worst of it that happens is when a pea accidentally lands on a silkie during normal pea grabass..... when things are mellow(and they usually are ), the peas make every effort NOT to land on a silkie when coming off of a roost ... i use my pea pen to grow out silkies .... and i use my silkie coop to grow out peas until they acclimate to the big guys --- i'm relatively new to silkies and have gone off the deep end with them ... kinda looking forward to downsizing

2/11 2am ---1 more's out, 1's externally pipped, 1's internally pipped and tapping and 1 more's moving into position (by that i mean when you candle the egg and you can see how the embryo's pushing out along the bottom of the air cell)

6 out of the last 7 set are fertile (+ 1 that i put in 12 hours later)
