My first goose egg? Or a double yolker duck?

Hahahaha they are 8 months! I'm so pumped!!! Now to figure out if they are both girls or not ... I haven't seen any mating but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen in private or when I'm not around . One of the geese is questionable .. So now I'm looking for 3 types of eggs! Yaya!!!
since the first eggs are usually not fertile, wait until you get a few more, then eat one or at least crack it. if its fertile it will have a big white circle in the center of the egg. you cant miss it!

Don't want to burst your bubble, but it could very possibly be a duck egg. I thought I had my first goose egg, and it turned out to be a quadruple yolker (yes, 4 yolks in one egg) duck egg!

The duck eggs I've seen (from runner ducks) have had a totally different shell color and texture than goose and chicken eggs.

The duck eggs have a greenish hue, and they have a smoother, "waxier" surface.

Goose eggs are white-white, and as soon as they're hardened the shells are chalk-like, like chicken eggs.

Yes, that was my first thought, but I decided to play with it a bit

Best to eat it, chocolates inside or not!

Actually, when my first geese laid eggs I thought they were duck eggs, so small...but the shell was different. Became scrambled egg..
And I have some chickens that first-time-laying laid horrendously big eggs, goodness knows how they got them out! And those eggs sometimes have rings around them, just not as perfect as this goose/duck one. Very artistic.

It´s a very strange-looking goose egg. Is it really shiny as in the photo? Are you sure someone isn´t playing a trick on you? Maybe there´s a little bag of chocolates inside!

I have two chickens that have just started laying again after their rest, and their eggs are like little quails´eggs in size! I´d need about 12 of them to make a decent omelette!
