i have 3 dozen guinea eggs that are scheduled to hatch on monday and stop turning today, but when i checked them last night, 1 had already hatched and 8 more are piped, i hatch over 1000 chicken eggs every year but this is my first guinea eggs, i went ahead and took them out of the turning trays a day early and put them in the hatcher, but was wondering if this is normal or is something wrong? thanx

All I can say is that mine hatch on time, or almost (not quite) a day late. I hear a lot of people say theirs hatch early too, so it makes me wonder if I'M doing something wrong!

Any time between day 24 and 26 is normal for my keets to hatch... I have even had a few hatch on day 23.

cool thanx they seem to be doing good ive had 2 hatch so far but their not due till monday, i guess we will see how the rest of it goes

Also you want to make sure to bump the humidity up to about 75% if you can get it/maintain that high. My keets always hatch better/quicker if I give them plenty of humidity.
