I've set 35 Crested Cream Legbar eggs and 6 White Jersey Giant eggs from a pet hen named Lady Godiva. She got that name after a pack of hormonal young hoodlum cockerels ganged up on her while all where out free ranging. Her mate is a stately rooster we named Bob after losing his tail feathers in a feral dog attack. I'm going to candle the eggs at one week and those that are developing I will number and then let anyone interested name them and root for their hatch into a healthy lively chick.

So far so good. The temp is idling long at 99.5° and the humidity bouncing between 46/47%. It's just the waiting until the first candling that makes me impatient for how they are actually doing. The White Giant eggs are from a two year old pair but the CCL's are from 9 month old pullets and one very ambitious cockerel that takes his job very seriously.
