My first hatch with bargain's eggs - PICS ON PAGE 3

Nancy.....here's the pics I promised you.

The first 2 out.

This is the 4 healthy ones. The BR was really gummy because I had to help the one that injured itself. The other ones were trying to pick at her injury. Notice the MOOSE welsummer next to the BR. No idea why it's so much bigger than the other 2. Also the other 2 are lighter in color.

The one that hurt itself.

And what it did to itself.

Congrats on the new babies. If you put some cornstarch on the baby that is bleeding it will help it clot and you wont have to worry about it as much.Flour and baking soda also works.

Thanks. It's already healed though. I've been keeping it clean and the chick is doing fine so far. Doesn't seem to be in pain, it's walking, eating and drinking. Little issue with pasty butt.

Congrats on your shipping....You did me proud and yourself too!!!!

Well I'm doing the happy granny chicken dance over here in Georgia!!!!! If I could figure how to get those little thingies on here that could dance, I'd add them.... I'm a Granny Yeah!!!!

Give those kiddies a hug from their Granny....When they are old enough, be sure and cook them some SOuthern grits ......the kind that's from corn....

It's been a pleasure and don't forget we have more eggs for you whenever you need them!!!

I've got to go find Grandpa to look at his grandkids....

Have a blessed day!
Nancy

Thanks Kathyinmo for telling me how to use the little smilies....Love them
