This is our first hatch (of shipped eggs) - and we got our first pip! So nervous none are going to hatch.

Of the 8 shipped, 5 made it to lockdown. Yesterday, they were all moving around. I made a little mistake and had to open the incubator to put in some paper towels on the bottom to keep them from slipping. So nervous I messed them all up. Before that the eggs were all moving and after... much less so. The pip happened after I had to open the Bator.

Crossing fingers it goes well!

Opening the bator for a minute isn't a death sentence especially if they hadn't pipped yet. As long as the humidity got back up they should be just fine. :)

Be sure to post photos of the chicks! :jumpy:jumpy:jumpy
