Well 1 more hatched. It is very quiet compared to the other. 1 has a broke a hole in the shell sometime overnight but doesn't look like it is making any progress. should I assist in getting it to hatch?

Its really up to you. I personally would wince there due to come out today anyhow. Post some pics after you assist

Not sure it I will. I am very nervous about it. It doesn't seem to have any movement so I am b afraid it may have died.

The egg was moving it is still ok.

Well the one that had trouble hatching didn't make it. But on the bright side so far we have 4 healthy chicks. And 4 eggs that I hope are just late hatchers.

I spent today and yesterday working on my cage when i really realized that it wasn't predator proof enough. So I got more hardware cloth and secured it all around. Many pokes and sore hands, but it's much more suitable to safely keeping quail.
Also, I called the local feed store and had them order the proper feed so I won't need to substitute [like i said i was going to in the original post]. That would be much better and rear happyhealthy babies.
