That, or break her of the broodiness! Poor little dear is probably exhausted from so long sitting waiting on chicks! I’d vote for getting her chicks... because, more chickens=goodness, IMO!

I tried breaking her with a wire bottom cage but she started freaking out and was not having it. I totally agree with "more chickens=goodness"! I'm pretty sure that my dad will let me get two or three chicks for her ( I hope my TSC has some polish babies!!!)

How about an update? Did you end up with babies for your endless broody? And did Marshmallow get a new batch to brood?

Oh sorry, I forgot about that.
Raven is now raising three polish chicks from TSC and she is a wonderful mom. The chicks are now four weeks old.
Unfortunately my aunt couldn't bring anymore eggs down for marshmallow and she ended up coming out of being broody and is laying again.

So glad you found your Polish babies! And "laying again" is not such a bad place to be! Congrats on your new babies!

Awww, c'mon. You mean you don't enjoy getting that lovely "stink eye" every time you so much as look at her? And having to carry band-aids around in your pocket, just in case she gets past your heavy gloves when you try to move her ... or feed her ... or look at her? Nope! Broodies are a species unto themselves, for sure!
