MissP, thought I'd tell you that Meg has laid two eggs since I put her in with Suede. She sleeps on one side of him while Skye sleeps on the other.

I was making a order at the First State Vet supply website and that rooster looks a lot like red. You didnt tell us he had a modeling gig.

That is ONE big RED roo! I'm very impressed! I bet with your F2 and F3 stock, you should get more red on them! I love HIS color! Keep up with the good work!

We're hoping that Red crossed with Meg's kids by Suede will produce more deep reds. Meg looks so much like an Orpington, but flaming red, and with white legs, it will be fascinating to see what happens.
