I took this the other day but forgot to upload it.
Hazel is never too far from Mum.

Thought I would post an update on how many is in my current flock and how much loses I have had during my journey so far.

Currently in my flock is:
Hazel - Hybrid Australorp Pullet
7 Chicks - 2 Light Sussex, 3 Rhode Island Reds and 2 Purebred Black Australorps.

My losses during my journey:
7 Hybrid Australorp that went missing whilst free ranging. What happened to them is Unknown.
2 Black Australorp chicks that had died due to what looked like yolk infection.
1 Black Australorp chick that we unfortunately had to cull as it was not in a good way at all.

It makes me sad to think of the losses but its all learning until I can it right.

I can hear thunder outside. I wonder how my chicks will go they haven't experienced thunder or lightning yet.
