Thank you both. Im really hoping to keep the Light Sussex Cockerel he is nice to me and the other chicks and lets me hold him and cuddle him so I think he will be my 1 choice.

Do not let other people's ignorance in our feathered babies deter your journey. I think you're doing a wonderful job! I don't know how long you've been raising chickens but I am 3 yrs in and still learning new things and unfortunately I have lost a few also I have even had to improvise with raising mine because I'm an amputee and I can't get to many places in the yard... but they are happy, well taken care of and according to some ppl spoiled

The app is called count my eggs. So you can count your eggs, keep track of what money you have made, what money you have spent, your flock and it shows your best laying days and worst.
I really like it. I think I paid about $3 for it. But I recommend it.
