Yeah thats true. When my girls start laying any money I make will be used back on the chickens.

My partner and I have had the conversation about our chicks. If we end up with some roos we will keep 1 for our flock the rest will have to go.

Glad him and I are on the same page. He never wanted a roo but since we got chicks his like ok we will keep them if they are but I said no only 1 if we have one coop or they might fight.
But if we get another coop ill look at what we can do then.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY reccomend you keep all roosters until about 8 months of age, this way you can select the best chicken and human tolerant rooster, some roosters are human aggressive and some are not. Good luck!

We were just talking about the same thing! Ok so about 8 months and we will have an idea on the one to keep. Sounds great to me!
