Danab, love your pictures, you can almost feel their feathers. Dora is my favorite - what a beautiful color and she looks like a real smart cookie.

Oh your chickens are gorgeous. I just have to tell you that I have Bella's twin sister Sally, It is unbelievable how much they look alike. I love my chickens and the black ones are beautiful. I have another americauna or EE Suzie, that is like a blond color and she is out of this world. I also have a black EE named Annie that is not very friendly at all, its amazing to see the difference in the demeaner and personalities and they are from the same hatch. But they are still beautiful. The all have the same markings as your EE does they are just all different colors. Barred rocks are sweet to. Oh I just love them all.

I have seen a lot of EE pics that look like Bella. I think this must be a common coloring pattern for the EE's. She is the smallest of my original 4 chickens, but one of the most feisty. She has no problem bossing around the much larger Jersey Giants. I think she is beginning to warm up to me a little bit though. Her sister Dora is much calmer and a little bit bigger. I am so looking forward to collecting eggs from them.
