My geese are scared of ducklings

These geese were raised from goslings with ducks, and don't have any problems with ducks. Our ducks and geese hang out together, by choice, all day long. It's very sweet, actually. But I won't leave ducklings around them unsupervised until they are bigger.
WHY did you post this question then stating your geese RUN AWAY from the ducklings?! And then completely change your story? Obviously your geese do not hang out with your ducks together all day long if you said they were RUNNING AWAY from them, I don't understand your logic. Do you want to try and restate your question or are you sticking with this new story?

They have no problems with ducks, they run away when ducklings chase after them. I can take a photo if that's not clear.

Thanks, @Carrosaur . I would appreciate it if you would give others the space to participate on this thread, if they would like to. You've made your opinions known loud and clear!

Just because I'm posting doesn't mean someone else can't. Maybe no one else is posting because the ONLY thing you can do is separate them.

I have a pair of geese who are over just over a year old. They are tame and very friendly. We've just gotten six muscovy ducklings, and the ducklings just want to follow the geese all over the garden, which is adorable. The geese seem scared, though, and run away from the ducklings. They don't seem to mind them when they are sitting down, but they don't like the ducklings "chasing them." Is there anything I can do to make the geese more comfortable around the ducklings?

I don't think you need to worry about the geese. IMO, the geese don't even KNOW what the ducks are, as they probably imprinted on humans, not ducks... As the duckling get older, they'll become more sure of themselves and less dependent on the geese, who look like "mom and dad" to the ducks...

Time together, or penned next to each other so they can "converse" but the geese can get away elsewhere without them following... They'll grow out of it... Eventually ;)

Why are you letting them do that? Quit stressing out your geese, that is abuse, LETTING them be chased. Why do it if they don't like it? If you aren't going to accept the advice we have offered why are you still posting about it?

ROFL... Ok ok they just want mommy! Lol I think they'll be fine ;) do watch the geese for signs of aggression though, they may get sick if it and lash out, but they are admittedly pretty cute to watch ;)
