Hi,
I am reporting on the use of Atroban 11% for the mites.
THE MITES ARE DEAD !!!!!
I don't want to get too heady here but this war on the mites I won.
Well, it has taken me a year of battling.
BUT I would say without a doubt I am happy right now. Those girls have got to feel better, and me too.

Hi,Hi MG! Can you follow up with me on how your chickens did within the two weeks of treating them with Atroban 11%? Did it make them sick and were you still able to eat the eggs right away or was there a waiting period? And did you spray or dunk them? Were you able to use this solution to spray down the hen house too? Thanks!!!
ANSWER FROM FARAD: Atroban 11 Percent EC Insecticidal Spray is labelled for use in poultry with no specific contraindications for use in laying hens. As long as the label directions are followed, there is no egg withdrawal associated with this product.Hi,
How the chickens did within the two weeks of treating with Atroban 11%. I never had anymore mites after treatment.
Was there a waiting period? I don't remember but....https://valleyvet.naccvp.com/product/view/basic/1047007?u=country&p=msds
has the number you can call to find out.
I have sent a message to FARAD.ORG to ask them about the egg eating use this site for help.
The coop can be sprayed but as you know all food and water must be removed and all girls.
I made up the smallest amount and put in a spray bottle from Ace Hardware. So I sprayed them with the bottle sprayer.
I sent a message to FARAD.org about the eggs.
thanks, mg
