Hi everyone! I got my two very spoiled ducks at a feed store back at the beginning of march! They are 3 months and some off weeks old. I cant believe it.

Anyways some of may have seen pictures of them before but as my little Lilly is growing she seems to not be a Cayuga as I was told before, and I have no idea what Daisy is...

Any help on gender and breed is much appreciated!

Daisy (Blue swedish?)

Lilly (Cayuga?)

Thanks guys! I have more pictures if you need them!

Ya know Tripp they are very pretty but I am still leaning towards Cayuga and Swede. my knowledge of breeds other than Muscovy is a guessing game but they are both lovely ladies. doesen't look like there's a drake feather yet.

Thanks you guys. The only thing that makes me think Lilly isnt a Cayuga is her head and little place on her wing has the green sheen the other is just flat black. Thats why she is so hard to take a picture of.

Thanks do you think they I will ever be able to know for sure? Or is this what they will look like forever?
Sorry if this sounds stupid. Let me rephrase this, I have heard (dont know if this is true or not) that ducks molt and get different feathers then they had before. I think its called Juvenile feathers?

Please correct me if Im wrong. Im good with chickens but completely new to ducks.

They change alot from hatch to adult feathers and your seeing it now. By 6-8 months they will most likely look like they will when mature. Then they will molt in the fall and no telling what they may look like
