Our lady ducks just started laying about a month ago and our Peking, Maxine, has laid several double and triple yolked eggs. We call her our Golden Goose because she is giving us amazing and large eggs! How normal is this?

Photo of the first triple yolked egg we cracked, and a double yolk we cracked last night:

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
New layers commonly lay double or triple yolk eggs. That will stop once their reproductive system fully matures.
Oh man, I kind of hope not 😂. She also lays soft eggs sometimes so we give her oyster shell and let them free range out of their pen each day 😊
